Open since 9/9/09, Gemini Bistro is a contemporary, inviting bistro offering seasonal American cuisine with French and Mediterranean influences. Located in a classic flatiron building built in 1919, the surroundings offer a warm and relaxing environment with dark hardwood floors, tweed and leather booths, oversized drum lighting and reproduction Edison bulbs. The dining room seats 86 for dinner and the full-service, white marble bar seats 14, making it the perfect place to relax, enjoy dinner, or simply sip a glass of wine from the approachable and diverse wine list. Our beautiful sidewalk seating on tree-lined Dickens Avenue seats 40.
Chef Paskewitz has over a decade of experience creating delicious dishes in some of Chicago’s finest restaurants. A Queens, New York native and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Paskewitz's seasonal menu and nightly specials showcase his experience and talent in executing straightforward, flavorful classics.
Ryan O'Donnell, a graduate of the culinary program at Kendall College Chicago, spent ten years in the kitchen before shifting his focus to the dining room. As Managing Partner of Gemini Bistro, O'Donnell has literally seen his culinary school business plan titled "Gemini Bistro" become a reality, and has recently expanded his vision by opening Rustic House with Chef Paskewitz.
